Description

The Contemporary Australian Flora, Meredith Woolnorth and Japanese Boro are significant inspiration for the textile items, straight legged jumpsuit with fitted corset top and headpiece. Natural fibres are the canvas for the design to reflect the natural landscape profiled. Crazy patchwork piecing, in the Boro style is used to create the cascade of texture the travels doewn the design from the right shoulder. This texture is reinforced with freemotion embroidery using the colours of the natural landcape to connect to the colours of Australia.
