Description

The textile item is a felted textile art piece. Inspiration is drawn from Pippa Haynes and Beatrix Potter. The textile item has been primarily constructed using needle felting. This felt is thick and dense and has excellent stability. The frog on the swing sits at the side of the treehouse. Chenille quilting has been used to create the surface of the tree. Free motion embroidery has been used to create floral motifs to adorn the ‘forest floor’. The materials used in the textile art piece has been dyed, printed, and spun directly from fleece.

Select Student Folio Pages

The pages selected for each project reflect the individual students' interpretations of the syllabus guidelines for the MTP. Each student should develop their folio according to the guidelines, relating to their own individual project.
