Description

The textile item is a two-piece garment consisting of a strapless corset bodice, hand applique and embroidered flowers and vines along with an elegant slim maxi skirt with a centre back vent. 100% Princess silk satin was used for the outer fabric giving it a lustrous appeal, allowing emphasis on the flowers and vines variations and sophistication. Elegant embroidery and applique were implemented throughout the entirety of the garment. The embroidery designs consisted in the flower petals, flower buds and the stems of the vines, all completed with a stem stitch. Similarly, the stem stitch was used to applique the flower petals and leaves, leaving it with a smooth and sophisticated finish.
