Images of Work
"Horsehair braid edged the circle skirt which contributed to the form and functionality and conceptual success. It not only allowed for a secure, clean edge around the circle skirt; but also allowed Victoria to represent the curved roof, which is a staple in Chinese architecture."
"The ink hand painting around the trouser cuffs enhanced the piece visually. Though labour intensive, it matched the techniques of traditional silk painting from China's Tang Dynasty fashion. It also contributed to the organic motif of my work, with lotuses and lotus leaves from Chinese water towns."
Select Student Folio Pages
The pages selected for each project reflect the individual students' interpretations of the syllabus guidelines for the MTP. Each student should develop their folio according to the guidelines, relating to their own individual project. This may result in a variety of presentation styles, numbers of sketches and/or experiments.
