"I used the traditional method of quilting and binding which secured layers wadding, drill and linen together to create pot holders and oven mitt which are safe to use and functional, giving efficiency to the purpose of the kitchen set."

"I used huck embroidery to decorate the embroidered inserts and features within the set. These reflect my inspiration of Swedish Textile art and the kinds of hand decoration techniques that were undertaken in the 1950's period."
