Images of Work
"The utilisation of the laser cutting along the hemline of the overskirt created significant repetition and balance to the overall silhouette of the costume. This is due to the negative and positive space it creates in conjunction with the other elements and the geometric motifs evident throughout the costume."
"The choice of Tambour embroidery and Goldwork throughout the stomacher on the corset was successful in creating a historically accurate aspect of my costume. The embroidery design significantly allowed me to develop a depth of colour and texture seen throughout the costume and Tudor period."
Select Student Folio Pages
The pages selected for each project reflect the individual students' interpretations of the syllabus guidelines for the MTP. Each student should develop their folio according to the guidelines, relating to their own individual project. This may result in a variety of presentation styles, numbers of sketches and/or experiments.
